02.03.2011 || KLM launches scheduled service to Havana
LM Royal Dutch Airlines will launch thrice-weekly service to José Martí International Airport on Cuba with effect from its 2011 winter schedule starting 31 October. Cuba will then become KLM's 68th intercontinental destination.

05.07.2010 || Alitalia Joins Air France-KLM Group, Delta Air Lines in Industry
Alitalia, Italy's leading airline, today joined the Air France-KLM Group (OTC: AFLYY) and Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) as a member of the airline industry's leading trans-Atlantic joint venture. Launched in April 2009, the multi-party agreement created a single, coordinated network for customers flying across the Atlantic, allowing the member airlines to share revenues and costs on their trans-Atlantic routes.

In antwoord op de gestegen brandstofprijzen verhoogt KLM haar brandstoftoeslag op in Nederland gekochte KLM-tickets met 1 euro per traject op intra-Europese vluchten en met 5 euro per traject op alle intercontinentale vluchten.
