Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground handling services for the air transport sector, has appointed Rainer Müller as Senior Vice President Sales within its Cargo Services division.
Zurich – Müller assumes his new duties on September 1. Rainer Müller (50) is a proven specialist in the cargo and logistics sectors. He comes to Swissport from Lufthansa, where he has served in various executive capacities over the last 20 years and more, most recently as the Frankfurt-based director of global key account management for Europe and Africa.
In addition to his many years of industry experience, Müller can draw on extensive expertise in marketing, consulting, controlling, pricing and more. Swissport is delighted that, following John Batten’s arrival as its new Executive Vice President Cargo, the appointment of Rainer Müller has now further strengthened its Cargo Services management team.
