Latvia’s national airline Air Baltic will be offering flights between Riga and the Romanian capital of Bucharest from March 29 this year. The flights will be operated by the Romanian national airline, TAROM, under a code-sharing agreement with Air Baltic.
Riga - Air Baltic Chief Commercial Officer Tero Taskila: “In partnership with TAROM, we are offering our passengers a new Balkan destination – the Romanian capital of Bucharest. We are confident that this will be appreciated by passengers who will travel in transit via Riga between Romania and Scandinavia, Europe, Middle East and the CIS.”
TAROM will offer flights from Riga to Bucharest and back again on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Passengers will board a Boeing 737/700 aircraft for a flight that will last two hours and 15 minutes. One-way prices will start at LVL 59 (EUR 84), including airport and transaction fees. A full schedule of flights can be found at the company's website.
Regardless of the point of departure, airBaltic offers convenient connections over its North Hub Riga to the airline’s network in Scandinavia, Europe, CIS and the Middle East.
